Info for Participants

To join with us in “Planting Together”, your first step is to sign up with a team from your own nation or language group. You can get in touch with KKI in your country, or you can contact the Planting Together core team and we will try to connect you with a team in your nation or region.

(IF YOU ARE A TEAM LEADER, GO TO THIS PAGE)

Teams will come together to the “Gather and Go” camp in Dakar, before heading out for one week of tree-planting adventures and one week of other outreach activities. Depending on your team and your outreach location, your financial faith challenge will be generally €400 for outreach and €6-700 for your plane ticket to Senegal.

Before coming to Africa, you’ll need to get  vaccinations (yellow fever, hepatitis, etc) to protect your health, malaria pills to take during your trip, and a visa (depending on your nationality).

Once you’ve been accepted for a Planting Together team, your team leader will give you much more practical information. A few weeks or a couple of months before your trip, you’ll get a participant’s handbook that will help you prepare personally for your African adventure. If you would like to see the participants manual from a previous year’s campaign, you can download it here
