Besides Planting?

Most teams will spend 5-7 days actually planting and/or pruning trees. Conditions and climate during planting seasons (August in West Africa) are harsh. However, in the regions where planting is most needed, so is every kind of developmental and social assistance.

Government leaders have asked us to send mobile medical clinicssport teamschildren’s activitieslanguage teachersclean water techniciansAIDs educationdental and physical hygiene instructors, etc.

Gernerally, teams will spend up to one week planting/pruning and then a second week partnering with other social and charitable projects such as: orphanages, street-kids homes, assisting churches, children’s programs, youth clubs, village to village visits with Christian organizations, etc.

So, plan on at least 16 days in your destination country to include orientation, planting/pruning and other ministry. For a list of current ministry partners, click here.
